Now if your RAM gets full, and can't fit all this stuff in, the computer starts using what it calls Virtual memory, and this is really just space in your hard disk that's set aside for this emergency. You can view it on your hard drive for a file called pagefile.sys - plus it is usually huge, because it has to be at least the size of your RAM.
